01 The short version
- We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.
- This website uses privacy-friendly analytics that don't use cookies and don't identify you.
- Purchases happen on Etsy, so Etsy (not us) handles your payment details.
- Your copy of a template lives in your own Google Drive. We can't see what you type into it.
- If you join our email list, we use Kit to send our emails. You can unsubscribe with one click anytime.
02 Who we are
GetPlanly ("GetPlanly", "we", "us") is based in Brentwood, California, USA, and designs and sells digital Google Sheets templates through our Etsy shop. This policy covers this website (www.getplanly.com) and how we handle information connected to our templates. Questions? Email us at help.planly@gmail.com.
03 Information we collect
When you browse this website
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular. It is cookieless and does not collect personal identifiers. It records anonymous, aggregated data such as the page visited, the referring site, browser and operating system, device type and approximate country, plus anonymous counts of clicks on buttons like “Shop on Etsy” or the free calendar downloads. Visitors are not tracked across websites, and we cannot use it to identify you.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply and help you.
When you sign up for emails
If you request our free calendar or join our list, we collect your email address and (optionally) your first name to send you the freebie and occasional tips, new templates and offers. You'll get a confirmation email first, and you're only added once you confirm. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and we never sell your address.
Our list is stored with our email service, Kit (kit.com). Kit also records your signup date and basic email activity, such as whether an email was delivered or opened and which links were clicked, so we can see what's useful. Kit's privacy policy applies to the data it processes for us.
When you buy on Etsy
Orders are placed and paid for on Etsy. Etsy shares with us the order details needed to fulfil your purchase (such as your name, Etsy username and what you bought). We never receive your card or payment details. Etsy's own privacy policy applies to everything that happens on Etsy.
What we don't collect
We don't have accounts or logins on this website, we don't run advertising trackers, and we don't collect the information you enter into your template. That data stays in your Google account.
04 How we use information
- To deliver your purchase and provide customer support.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To send the free calendar and the emails you signed up for (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- To improve this website and our templates using anonymous, aggregated analytics.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations related to sales.
05 Your templates & Google
Our templates run in Google Sheets. When you click a template link and choose "Make a copy", the copy is created in your own Google Drive and is private to you unless you choose to share it. Your use of Google Sheets is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
08 How long we keep information
We keep emails and order details for as long as needed to support you and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, then delete them. If you join our email list, we keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics are kept only in aggregated, anonymous form.
09 Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, email help.planly@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. For data held by Etsy, Google or Kit, please use their tools and contact options as well.
10 California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to, correction of, or deletion of it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don't use or disclose sensitive personal information. To make a request, email help.planly@gmail.com; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
11 Children
This website and our shop are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
